Photograph and Document Scanning & Archiving

Magical Memories Productions can archive your documents, photographs and slides onto a CD-ROM for back-up purposes. Unlike a photo montage, the archived photos and scans are not set up to be viewed on a television. With archiving we take a full scan of the photo and store it on media in JPEG or PDF format.

JPEG and PDF files can be viewed on a PC or MAC computer. They are widely known and accepted formats.

Making an archive copy of your memories and important documents can protect them from fire, flood, theft, etc. as the discs can be easily stored in a fire-proof safe, safe deposit box or with a friend or relative.

Features of a MMP Photo Archive Disc:

- Photos can easily be transferred from the disc to a photo slideshow in the future.

- Pictures on the disc can be sorted, searched, printed and emailed with a click of the mouse.

- For added protection or sharing the discs can be easily copied.

What else can be scanned and archived?

We can scan many different types of items as long as they are flat and 8.5 X 14 or less. Some items include: drawings from children, diplomas, awards, letters, etc. If you have something that you want to include but your are not sure if it will work please contact us.

Scanning:

    Print Photographs - $0.50 per print

Paper Documents - $0.50 per page

    Slides & Negatives - $0.60 per slide/negative

 Additional CD-ROM copy (one included) - $8.00 per disc
